Temple Emanuel Temple Youth (TEMTY)
Temple Emanuel is a Reform synagogue dedicated to the celebration of Jewish faith, thought and culture. We are committed to the worship of God, the study of our tradition and the translation of our beliefs into deeds of conscience. For over fifty years our congregation has welcomed individuals and families who have enjoyed and been enriched by our synagogue's combination of intimacy and integrity. We are a committed group of individuals who welcome newcomers - so that all can quickly become a part of our caring congregation.

Baltimore Hebrew Congregation (BHeCTY)
BHeCTY, our senior youth group for BHC high schoolers, is also doing great things. Last fall, the BHeCTY Board ran Religious School for an evening, teaching their peers in the high school program about drugs and violence. Also, at the Winter Shul-in (overnight), BHeCTY collected hundreds of cans for the hungry and made sandwiches as well. BHeCTY will continue similar efforts this spring. Most impressively, Delegate Dana Stein has invited BHeCTY to sign on to state legislation that will introduce solid anti-bullying efforts into Maryland schools.

Har Sinai Temple Youth (HaSTY)
HaSTY, or Har Sinai Temple Youth, is a vibrant organization run for and by the youth of Har Sinai Congregation. Marissa Greenberg is the advisor for the group, which runs social, educational and religious activities for high school students throughout the year. HaSTY is joined by two other youth groups, a 3-5th grade group and a middle school group for grades 6-8. Some favorite activities include movie nights, trips to ski, rock climb, whitewater raft and visits to amusement parks. We also provide opportunities for our kids to join us in performing Tikkun Olam, making the world whole, by doing social action projects. This year we are proud to have introduced a special youth service and oneg Shabbat on the third Friday of each month at 8:00. For more information on Youth at Har Sinai, please call the Temple office at 410-654-9393.

Oheb Shalom Temple Reform Youth Group (OSTRYG)
Building the future of Judaism starts with building our youth. The youth groups at Temple Oheb Shalom expand upon the education and friendships started in the classroom to build a strong Jewish identity and connection to our synagogue and the Jewish community as a whole. We have three youth groups designed to match the different ages and interests of our youth. Oheb Shalom Temple Reform Youth Group (OSTRYG), is our senior youth group made up of grades 9-12. OSTRYG elects a teen leadership board each year that helps design and plan the calendar of events for the year. Our members are also actively involved regionally in National Federation of Temple Youth - Mid Atlantic Region (NFTY-MAR), where they have the opportunity to unite with Jewish youth from Delaware to North Carolina for weekend kallahs. The other two youth groups available are Junior OSTRYG, grades 6-8, and Micro OSTRYG, grades 3-5. Each group provides its own unique activities and experiences to engage our participants. The activities range from camping trips to skiing, white water rafting to amusement parks. These exciting events tie in social activities with Jewish services, social action, and contemporary themes. Temple Oheb Shalom is dedicated to our youth and their involvement in our synagogue and each other. These youth are the Jewish leaders of tomorrow and that is a future to which we can all look forward.
